This replica from AGM is based on the Maschinengewehr 42 or "Buzzsaw" used by the German infantry from 1942-1945, along with extensive use post-war globally in various conflicts.
This kit version includes a full metal bipod and high quality custom-fitted S&T semi-hard case with internal padding to hold the MG42 and its accessories.

Metal parts include the receiver, barrel assembly, front and rear sights, folding stock, trigger, & trigger guard and magazine.

The stock is real wood and the grip panels are ABS.
The grip panels are a convincing recreation of the brown Bakelite plastic favoured by German weapon designers of the 1930s.
Custom reinforced gearbox with steel gear, 8mm ball bearings, chrome-plated cylinder alongside a high torque motor. (Some internal V2 compatibility)
Adjustable hop-up system is located underneath bolt cover and is a lever style.

Electric winding drum magazine is powered by x4 AA batteries (Sold Separately) and is synchronized to the trigger for seamless feeding via a small connector.
Battery is inserted between the stock and rear of the receiver and can be inserted by lifting the dust cover upwards.
