Typical Gen5 features, like the funnelled magazine well, the front serrations and the ambidextrous slide stop lever, offer enormous advantages over earlier GLOCK 17 generations in the field too.
Left-handers also benefit from a reversible magazine catch that allows completely ambidextrous operation of the GLOCK.

For an authentic feel when shooting, the blowback produces a very noticeable recoil when the heavy metal slide of the gas-operated GLOCK jumps back with every shot fired. The 22-round magazine comes in the same coyote colour as the frame.
Its particular closeness to the original pistol is underscored by its compatibility with current GLOCK, Safariland and Blackhawk holsters.

VFC worked alongside Glock who had a large input in the aesthetics of this pistol, so it looks and feels just like the real thing!
The Glock 17 is probably the most famous Glock model of all. In use with many police forces and military units around the world.
It’s almost exactly the same weight as the real thing thanks to the heavy metal slide, which considerably enhances the pistol’s feel.
The adjustable hop-up is located on the underside of the outer barrel (slide removal required for adjustment).
This model is fully licensed by GLOCK with the full engravings and markings.
Magazine holds 23 BBs, with authentic Glock markings on the baseplate.
As this has a metal top slide we recommend using green gas with this pistol.
In addition, the backstrap is interchangeable so that the grip can be customized for hands of any size.

Note: Umarex Glocks have tight barrel/slide tolerances. As such, surface wear on the ejection port cover after the first few magazines is perfectly normal and does not constitute a fault.
