Case in point is this rare shell ejecting M870 model, powered by 144a gas.
The M870 composite stock version feels just like the real thing. Used widely by law enforcement agencies around the world.
This model is not designed for heavy handed, continuous use like in weekly skirmishes. It is designed for light back yard plinking, collectors or as a showcase for authentic real steel operation in a quality replica. We do not recommend this model for first time users or younger players.
Due to this being the extended custom model, it holds 6 shells at a time and each shell is ejected on each pumping action.
3 green shells are included with the gun, each capable of holding 1 to 9 BBs at a time.
We also bundle an additional pack of 5 blue shells with the shotgun. So you get a total of x8 shells with this purchase.
The more BBs you try to load into each shell at a time, the less power you get. We recommend keeping from 1-3 BBs per shell at a time for decent performance. Overfilling the shells can also result in BBs falling out and jamming the mechanism.
Simply load the recommended 1-3 BBs into each shell and then load the shells into the feed ramp on the underside, just like the real thing. Every time you cycle the pump handle, it ejects a chambered shell and rechambers another.
As this is a toy and the action is based on the real steel, jams and failures to eject are to be expected occasionally.
Extremely realistic action but power is a little limited and there is no adjustable hop-up so this is not suitable for skirmishing.
As this is a Japanese model designed by Maruzen, the only gas to be used with this M870 is Abbey Predator Gun Gas 144a. Do not use standard green gas or anything higher than low pressure gas.
