Gate Aster V2 SX Expert & Quantum Trigger - Rear Wired - R2

ASTER SX for V2 gearboxes – the natural successor of ASTER SE

• Merges years of experience with cutting edge tech.
• ASTER SX is now fully compatible with popular brushless motors – even with batteries up to 11.1 V.
• The unit heats up less even while accommodating higher loads.
• ASTER can operate with stronger springs and more demanding configurations.
• ASTER SX comes with a free Quantum Trigger, so you can easily set sensitivity from ludicrous touch through hair to full movement.
• Improved programming via trigger gives you settings such as automatic Pre-Cocking, trigger sensitivity adjustment, Active Brake settings with top-class adaptive mode.
• Calibration available just via trigger and selector movement.
• Thicker and sturdier PCB – 1 mm in thickness – makes ASTER V2 SX one of the most durable ETUs on the market.

• ASTER SX is future-proof, thanks to compatibility with USB-Link and Blu-Link. You can update your firmware and get new options, connect additional accessories, check telemetry.

‎What is an ETU? It is an Electronic Trigger Unit replacing trigger contacts and the cut-off lever, which takes control of your AEG.

Why ASTER's programming via trigger is user-friendly?

  • You do not need to rush.
  • You can navigate the menu very quickly and efficiently or slowly and calmly.
  • The colours of the led lights are only a help – you can rely on the vibration of the motor.
  • In case of any problems, you can use the very popular USB-Link or Blu-Link and use the GCS App.

  ‎

What is the self-learning automatic pre-cocking?

  • Thanks to Pre-cocking, you gain trigger reaction similar to real life.
  • It will automatically set piston position.
  • It is easy-to-use, just set one of the 3 modes: LOW, MID or HIGH.
  • It automatically adapts to the battery voltage and rate of fire.

• ASTER gives you great flexibility and is future-proof. Today you can program the most important functions with the trigger, and tomorrow you can borrow a USB-Link or Blu-Link from a friend to configure advanced functions, perform a firmware update, run diagnostics or use the GCS app on a smartwatch.

  • Hair-trigger – up to 60 sensitivity in the first millimeter of trigger movement.
  • Top-notch automatic pre-cocking.
  • Foregoing reverse polarity protection in exchange for unparalleled performance.
  • You can update its firmware via the Internet.
  • ASTER is a part of the GATE Ecosystem.
  • Lowest in the market current consumption. Deep sleep mode with only 0.29 mA current consumption prevents battery discharge.
  • Built-in voltage boost converter allows for trouble-free operation with weaker batteries and increases the switching efficiency.
  • 3.75 V ready – it operates at very low voltage (even 1.2 V during the shot), which is important in high-tuned AEGs, where the voltage under load drops significantly.
  • Sensor that supports Infinite Torque-up, DSG, SSG, 19-tooth and standard gears.
  • The possibility of using a mechanical trigger lock.
  • Compatibility with brushless motors.
