  • Through a license agreement with Howa Kogyo Co., Ltd., the developer and manufacturer of the real Type 20 5.56mm rifle, Marui have created their latest gas blowback rifle, the Type 20.
  • The handguard and upper receiver are constructed from quality aluminium, with realistic markings. The gas system inside the handguard has also been accurately reproduced.
  • The lower receiver, stock and grip all use fiber-reinforced nylon resin, which is tough and hard wearing.
  • The upper receiver is engraved with the Howa Kogyo logo and the words "MADE IN JAPAN." This is a "purely domestic" model, manufactured and assembled entirely in Japan from the parts level. *This product is exclusively distributed in Japan.
  • The outer barrel is complete with a quality anodised finish that looks just like the real thing. Levers pins and bolt are plated to evoke a Parkerised finish.
  • Incredibly heavy, coming in at 3.29kg in weight with an empty magazine.
  • By pushing out the front/rear receiver pins, you can perform realistic takedown (standard disassembly) just like the real thing.
  • The bolt catch, selector lever, and magazine catch button are all ambidextrous, allowing operation from both sides. Furthermore, the cocking handle can be swapped left or right, so it can be operated by any dominant hand.
  • The sights are foldable, with the front sight adjustable vertically and the rear sight up, down, left, and right. The telescopic stock length can be adjusted in five steps, and the cheek piece height can be adjusted in three steps, allowing for settings tailored to your body type. As an extra feature, it also features the opening and closing of the grip bottom (for storing small items) and a movable gas regulator (dummy).
  • Fully field strip-able, just like the real steel. The upper receiver hinges upwards from the lower, allowing access to the trigger/hammer assembly as well as bolt access.
  • Same Z-system trigger system you will find in the MWS series of rifles.
  • Take-down is required to access the adjustable hop-up unit.
  • Includes a 35rd metal magazine.
  • Also accepts Marui MWS magazines found here.
  • Includes a wrench for removing the "double nut" system flash hider, as well as a set of installable M-Lok rail strips and covers. You also get a dummy 5.56mm round for popping out the receiver pins.
